Sedum Burrito (Burrow's/Donkey's Tail)
My favourite succulent ever, sedum burrito gets the nickname 'burrow's tail' due to its distinctive trailing 'tails'. As they are a succulent, they do not need much watering and will be happily neglected for a good while! If your burrito is happy, they may even produce dainty little flowers in the Summer time. The foliage is delicate and the little leaves can knock off quite easily - this does not affect the health of the plant and you can propogate any knocked off leaves by placing them on top of damp cactus/succulent soil mix.
Water: Once potting mix has fully dried out. Needs a free draining mix as they hate to sit in damp soil.
- Light: Loves light, pop it in a bright spot that gets dappled light but not direct sunlight.
- Temperature/Humidity: Keep temperatures above 15°C. Will enjoy bathroom or kitchen conditions where the humidity is slightly higher than elsewhere in the house. If misting, spray around the plant and not directly onto the leaves.
- Pets: Pet friendly :)
- Feeding: Feed once a month during Spring & Summer using diluted liquid plant food.
Pot size: 15cm
Please note: All plants are provided in a plastic nursery pot. Any outer decorative pots photographed are for illustration purposes. This plant is not for consumption.
